Crop-growing land is not treated with chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides for 3 years. A farm is annually inspected by soil sampling. Only then agricultural land can be certified as Organic.

Growing without chemicals

Crop planted into Organic soil is grown without use of synthetic chemicals, pesticides, and herbicides. Only then gathered raw materials can gain Organic status.

Natural Processing

It is prohibited to use synthetic preservatives and flavourings during organic crop processing. Hydrogenation, deodorization, and refining are excluded. Processors have the right to buy raw materials only from the farms that have an Organic certificate, as well as their production is annually certified for compliance with the Organic standard.

Control of the supply chain

Certified authorities monitor the entire supply chain of organic products against waybills: growing – purchasing raw materials – processing – distribution, in order to exclude any possibility of adulteration. Even traders buying and selling organic products also have Organic certificates and undergo annual inspections.
